Future Academy offers an ambitious five-month program tailored for young professionals and promising students aspiring to pursue entrepreneurship, research, or make a significant social impact. Participants will have the chance to collaborate with global talent on ambitious projects and compete for prizes of up to $50,000.
At Future Academy, they are seeking ambitious and altruistic individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact through their careers. Whether candidates are seasoned young professionals with 2-5 years of experience or exceptional students, Future Academy welcomes those eager to grow personally and professionally while contributing to a better world. They value truth-seeking and open-mindedness, offering opportunities for individuals with entrepreneurial or research aptitudes to explore their passions and drive innovation.
Future Academy encourages individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to express interest, even if they don’t meet all suggested criteria. This program welcomes applicants from around the world, with a special invitation extended to those from India.
Why we work with Future Academy
The primary global challenge that Future Academy addresses is the need to develop a new generation of leaders equipped with the skills, mindset, and commitment to address complex societal and environmental challenges. In an increasingly interconnected and rapidly changing world, issues such as climate change, social inequality, technological disruption, and global health crises require innovative solutions and collaborative approaches.
Minds Studio shares Future Academy’s aims to tackle this challenge by providing ambitious individuals with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to drive positive change and create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
What we worked on
Curriculum design
Minds Studio played a pivotal role in shaping the lesson plan design for Future Academy, catering to both facilitators and students. This encompassed crafting pre-work activities, developing supplementary materials, designing assessments, and outlining the runsheet for the entire 10-week program.
Initially, a dedicated team from Minds Studio participated in a rigorous 2-day virtual hackathon, leveraging science-based pedagogical approaches rooted in active learning principles to produce initial guidelines and prototypes.
Following this, a select group of Minds Studio experts continued to collaborate closely with Future Academy, refining and expanding upon the initial curriculum based on feedback gathered from the pilot course.
