The Minds Studio Framework

Over 15 years of experience at your service.

Our work is a unique combination of deeply thought principles, technology, expertise, and teamwork. At Minds Studio, we don’t provide one-size-fits-all solutions.

We aim to combine the science of what we currently know about learning with other fields, such as curriculum design, program management, user experience, service design, coaching, engineering, anthropology, architecture, and even art, to create life-changing communities of people who love gathering to learn together.

Learning

Who we work with

We work with the leadership teams of fearless organisations aligned with the Minds Studio Purpose, who dare to invest in developing an outstanding community of ‘deliberate’ practice.

We focus on understanding the learners’ needs and building an experience that works for them, using any tool, space, and technology available within the existing budget. We know that when all the different components work in harmony, learning together feels like magic.

Our goal at the Studio is to bring that magic to you.

We are agnostic to the audience’s age (we’ve worked with children, teenagers, and adults), expertise (ranging from deep academic and technical backgrounds to applied skills), and technologies involved (from very high-tech personalized solutions to light-touch ones).

How it works

1. Getting to know each other

Estimated Time: 3-4 weeks

We spend considerable time trying to understand your needs and the prospective learning community to determine whether we are a good match.

During this process, we meet different stakeholders in your organisation and produce an initial Project Scope, which we will validate with you. We usually involve several members of the Minds Network that we believe could be relevant to your needs.

2. Minds Hackathon

Estimated Time: 1 Week

With an initial project scope and prospective project members, we organise an initial “Minds Hackathon” where our team and a selection of your team work together for the first time, for a limited period.

This experience aims to produce an initial project draft and observe our team members in action. Your feedback will allow us to create an initial proposal, including the Minds team—which you’ll curate—and a prospective budget.

Each member of the Minds Team will have a different fee rate depending on seniority, task complexity and location.

3. Initial Project Implementation

Estimated Time: 6 months- 1 year

Once the client’s Leadership Team communicates the project scope internally, the selected Minds Team will work alongside your organisation to lead the creation of your Community of Practice. Please think of us as an extension of your team, leveraging your strengths to own the challenge and regularly report on the progress.

Naturally, the evolving process is a multi-stakeholder challenge involving several iterations, which is never a straight line. In our experience, the best successes have come through our collective attention to emerging needs, trends, and opportunities benefiting the Community, the stakeholders, and ultimately your vision.

4. Continuous improvement

Estimated time: Yearly iterations.

More than 60% of the Studio clients have been working with us for over a year. Once the first phase of the project implementation is completed, we review our contribution and where we add the most value to support our clients where they need it.
In some cases, we increase the project scope, and in others, we restart the process to address other challenges in your organisation. Some of our clients have already trusted us for more than five consecutive projects!
