Why we work with LIS

Interdisciplinary research has been credited with breakthroughs in fields such as healthcare, environmental sustainability, and technology. Collaborative efforts across disciplines are essential for tackling multifaceted issues like climate change, public health crises, and social inequality, as they require holistic approaches that draw on insights from various fields. As such, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration is crucial for advancing knowledge, driving innovation, and addressing the complex challenges facing society today.

MASc Coaching program

The LIS Master of Advanced Studies (MASc) program offers an interdisciplinary approach to graduate education, preparing students to tackle complex societal challenges through rigorous coursework, hands-on projects, and real-world experiences. With a focus on collaboration and innovation across disciplines, graduates emerge as agile problem-solvers ready to make meaningful contributions in academia, industry, government, and non-profit sectors.

Minds Studio has contributed to the design and implementation of the MASc’s Coaching program since its inception.

Research Project

Starting up Universities, 2023

This project serves as a platform for highlighting some of the most noteworthy initiatives in the realm of higher education, featured in UNIR’s publication, Nueva Revista. While these projects represent trailblazing efforts across various global regions, it’s important to note that they are not the sole endeavors in this domain. Each participant has been afforded the opportunity to articulate their primary value proposition and business model within a concise framework of fewer than 3,000 words.

“I very much enjoyed working with Alvaro over the last few years. His knowledge of online and new learning spaces on a global scale has helped me see new possibilities for higher education. His understanding of how coaching, in particular, could function in higher education and corporate learning environments has been very helpful in considering how we develop new tutorial models in this age of digital and remote learning.”
